Home Welcome to ART MATTERS!    This is a website is designed to let people know what is happening with the arts in our public schools as well as discuss why the arts are important! Hopefully as the website is being constructed there will be more and more opportunities for you to interact with us through discussion board, photos, videos (teachertube.com link for the Art Matters show), and Mr. Miller's blog (my journal). Enjoy Art Matters!  MISSION STATEMENT The Natick Public Schools’ Art teachers strive to empower their students. Students are encouraged through creative expression to develop an enduring appreciation for the Arts. Through process orientated experiences in the Fine and Performing Arts students enrich their cultural awareness, engage higher-level thinking skills, expand creativity, and discover their innermost self. To this end, the Natick Public Schools Fine and Performing Arts Department is focused on and dedicated to making the arts accessible and relevant to all students while fostering excellence in the pursuit of their creative endeavors.
