Remember to read for 30 minutes every school night (M-F).  At this rate you should be reading 2-3 books each month.  Keep track of your reading on Reading Log forms.  This is usually your only homework for L&L, so be sure to do it.  This practice will make you a better reader.  Remember that intelligent people read. If you have a blank spot in iPass or a 50% on an assignment, you need to see me.  That means you have not turned in or fully completed an assignment.  In order to prevent one assignment from disproportionately affecting your final grade, the lowest score I will report on an assignment is a 50%. If you want to do something for extra credit (to raise your grade 1 or 2 percentage points at most) let me know what ideas you have for some extra L&L work.  I always like to see kids using technology to demonstrate their L&L skills, so think about how you can use the computer to create something new and exciting.
